1008 Cold Rolled Steel Plate
It is an economical, general purpose steel grade offering moderate strength and toughness. As a standard grade, 1008 steel is used in many common, low-stress applications. Weldability (spot, projection, butt, and fusion) and brazeability are excellent.

1008 cold rolled steel plate is an ultra-low carbon AISI steel grade. It features exceptional ductility and superior deep drawability, better than 1018. With ultra-low carbon content, 1008 CR steel is ideal for deep drawing, stamping and complex forming processes. It has a bright, smooth cold-rolled surface and tight thickness tolerance.
