A588 Carbon Steel Plate
A588 steel plate is ASTM atmospheric corrosion resistant high strength low alloy steel, commonly known as weathering steel. It includes grades A588 Gr A, B, C, K. A588 develops a stable rust patina when exposed to the atmosphere, which slows further corrosion and eliminates the need for painting in many outdoor applications.
